CAMPUS DRESS ETHICS

To create a professional, orderly academic atmosphere that reflects values โ€‹โ€‹of politeness, all members of the academic community are expected to maintain ethical dress while on campus. A neat and polite appearance reflects not only respect for oneself but also for the environment and academic community.

โœ… DO'S
๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐ŸŽ“ Students
1. Wear sleeved shirts
2. Wear long pants (at least to the ankles)
3. Hair is neat and clean
4. Wear shoes or sandals with shoes
5. Dress appropriately for a male identity

๐Ÿง• Female Students Wearing Hijabs
1. Wear loose, non-tight, and non-transparent clothing
2. Wear formal blouses/Muslim attire and long pants or skirts
3. Wear neat hijabs
4. Wear shoes or sandals with shoes
5. Dress appropriately for a female identity

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸŽ“ Female Students Not Wearing Hijabs
1. Wear sleeved shirts/formal blouses
2. Wear skirts or trousers (at least below the knees, without slits)
3. Hair is neatly combed; if long, it should be tied back
4. Earrings are permitted
5. Dress appropriately aligned with women's identity

โŒ DON'Ts
1. Thin, tight, ripped, or revealing clothing that exposes sensitive body parts
2. Sleeveless shirts
3. Showing tattoos
4. Piercings on the face, head, or body. Ear piercings are permitted for female students.
