As a manifestation of the success of the MBKM program initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Department of Bioenergy Engineering and Chemurgy with the Department of Chemical Engineering opened nine courses in semester 1 2021/2022 to be followed by students from outside ITB. High enthusiasm can be seen from the number of students who follow.

As seen in the TK4201 Chemical Engineering Professional Seminar course, students from several universities from both eastern, central, and western parts of Indonesia followed the explanations and material from the speakers delivered by well-known industrial practitioners. On Tuesday 7 September 2021, Mr. Endri Suprianto from Unilever Oleochemical Industry was present as a resource person. The same enthusiasm can also be seen from MK TB4010 Modeling and Simulation of Bioenergy and Kemurgy Engineering which is supported by team teaching from 3 universities (Prof. Dr. Yazid Bindar from TB ITB, Dr.-Ing. Ir. Anton Irawan, MT, IPM, Asean Eng from Untirta, and Dr. Eng. Feerzet Achmad, ST, MT from Itera).
