In designing and building a chemical plant, the safety factor needs to be considered in depth. This was shared by Hasan Hidayatulloh in a guest lecture on Chemical Plant Design in Room X239 on Friday 31 January 2020. Various examples of cases were presented by the task that had to be carried out by a safety engineer in ensuring that the designs were in accordance with safety rules.
