
Cimahi, March 24, 2025 – The Faculty of Industrial Technology, Institut Teknologi Bandung (FTI ITB), conducted an official visit to PT Nisshinbo Indonesia to explore collaboration in research and education. The visit took place at the PT Nisshinbo Indonesia office on Jln. Raya Nanjung, Cimahi, from 8:00 to 11:15 AM WIB.
The visit was warmly welcomed by the management of PT Nisshinbo Indonesia, including President Director Jun Ito, Production Advisor Ishikawa Yosuke, Hiroaki Hakata, and Christine Natalia Soekiman. During the meeting, the two parties discussed the potential for collaborative applied research to support industry needs, as well as opportunities for human resource development through continuing education cooperation.
The delegation from FTI ITB was led by the Acting Dean of FTI and Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Yogi Wibisono Budhi, S.T., M.T., IPM. He was present with:
• Elvi Restiawaty, S.T., P.D.Eng., Ph.D. (Head of the Masters and Doctoral Program in Chemical Engineering)
• Dr. Eng. Muhammad Iqbal, S.T., M.T. (Center for Sustainable Industrial Systems and Technology)
• Guntur Adisurya Ismail, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. (Lecturer of the Chemical Engineering Study Program)
This visit is part of FTI ITB's efforts to strengthen synergy with industry, providing innovative solutions and increasing the relevance of higher education to real-world needs. The collaboration initiated is expected to support sustainable technology development and enhance the competitiveness of the national manufacturing industry.
